Measuring Post-Traumatic Growth in Veterans + First Responders
In 2025, STR Behavioral Health enhanced its Overwatch Program with the Post-Traumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI) — an outcomes measure developed specifically for veterans and first responders. Among 31 participants with complete data, average scores increased from 77 at admission to 185 at discharge, a 140% improvement across core domains, including personal strength, new possibilities, and appreciation of life. These preliminary findings affirm the clinical value of the Overwatch program and STR Behavioral Health’s commitment to outcomes-driven, population-specific care.
