How We Treat
No two people experience mental health the same way — so no two treatment plans at STR Cedar Creek look the same. The clinical team draws on a range of evidence-based approaches to develop a plan tailored to each client’s unique diagnosis, history, and goals. The science guides the work, but the relationship is what makes it effective.

Family Program
Mental health conditions affect the whole family — and healing tends to go deeper when loved ones are part of the process. STR Cedar Creek’s Family Program creates a space for families to learn, connect, and grow alongside the person they care about.
Through in-person and virtual sessions, educational groups, and dedicated support groups for family members, the program helps everyone involved feel more equipped and less alone.
Families in the program learn how to:
- Communicate with compassion and patience
- Set and maintain healthy boundaries
- Recognize early warning signs and potential triggers
- Support long-term stability — and take care of themselves too
Whether a parent, partner, sibling, or close friend, there’s a place for everyone here.
