How long is the typical stay?
Length of stay at STR Cedar Creek varies based on each client’s clinical needs and treatment progress. There is no predetermined timeline — because every person’s journey is unique, treatment continues as long as it is clinically appropriate. The treatment team, in collaboration with the client and their loved ones, determines the appropriate length of stay. For those using insurance, the duration of care is also subject to insurance approvals.
What mental health conditions does STR Cedar Creek treat?
STR Cedar Creek treats a wide range of complex mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depressive disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, and trauma-related conditions.
How often will I meet with my therapist?
Clients meet with their individual therapist once per week, in addition to weekly sessions with the medication management provider and care manager. Additional sessions with the holistic therapist are available upon request.
Can STR Cedar Creek help with my FMLA, disability, or legal matters?
Yes. STR Cedar Creek offers care management services, including assistance with FMLA, short-term disability, and legal matters. Clients meet with their care manager weekly. Please note that long-term disability assistance is not available through this program.
Is STR Cedar Creek LGBTQIA+-affirming?
