Medical Detox
STR Silver Pines operates a 21-bed medical detox unit designed to feel as comfortable and calm as possible. Detox is medically supervised around the clock, with specialized protocols and medication support tailored to each client’s needs.
The detox unit supports clients with complex presentations, including seizure disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, eating disorders, and pregnancy. Clients have access to 24/7 self-serve dining throughout their detox stay.
Residential Treatment
STR Silver Pines’s residential program provides intensive, personalized care for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders.
Treatment is built around meaningful connection, community, and a whole-person approach — delivered in a peaceful, home-like setting where clients can focus fully on healing. Every treatment plan is individualized to support long-term recovery.

Do I need to complete detox before starting residential treatment?
If clinically appropriate, clients begin in STR Silver Pines’s medically supervised detox unit before transitioning to residential care — all within the same facility for a seamless experience. However, clients who have already completed detox at another location or do not have medical withdrawal symptoms may be admitted directly to the residential level of care.
How long is the typical stay?
Length of stay at STR Silver Pines varies based on each client’s clinical needs and treatment progress. There is no predetermined timeline — because every person’s journey is unique, treatment continues as long as it is clinically appropriate. The treatment team, in collaboration with the client and their loved ones, determines the appropriate length of stay. For those using insurance, the duration of care is also subject to insurance approvals.
Why is it important to treat mental health and addiction together?
Mental health and addiction are deeply connected — untreated mental health conditions can contribute to relapse, while substance use can intensify psychiatric conditions. STR Silver Pines’s integrated approach treats both conditions simultaneously, supporting whole-person recovery that addresses the full picture.

Can STR Silver Pines help with my FMLA, disability, or legal matters?
Yes. STR Silver Pines offers care management services that include assistance with FMLA, short-term disability, and legal matters. Clients meet with their care manager on a weekly basis. Please note that long-term disability assistance is not available through this program.
