Our trauma-informed detox and residential programs offer a safe, structured environment to begin healing. Led by clinicians with lived experience in service roles, Overwatch empowers those who serve to rebuild resilience, restore well-being, and take back control of their lives.

Art Therapy
Art therapy is a clinically supported approach that uses creative expression to support emotional healing and recovery. Guided by a master’s-level art therapist, clients use various art materials to explore feelings, process trauma, build self-awareness, and manage symptoms related to mental health or substance use disorders. No artistic skill is required — art therapy is about expression, not technique.
At Silver Pines, gender-specific art therapy groups are offered weekly. Each session includes a guided prompt, creative time, and optional group discussion for reflection and connection. Clients can also schedule one-on-one sessions for a more personalized experience. These customized sessions offer a safe, supportive space to explore thoughts and emotions through the creative process.

Lifetime Alum Support
After leaving Silver Pines, each client receives regular check-ins, access to support groups and community networks, recovery resources, and opportunities to give back through volunteer work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to complete detox before starting residential treatment?
If clinically appropriate, you’ll begin in our medically supervised detox unit before transitioning to residential care — all within the same facility for a seamless experience.
How long is the typical stay?
Length of stay varies based on your medical and social needs, but generally ranges from 30 to 35 days. However, this depends on your commitment to treatment goals and progress.
Why is it important to treat mental health and addiction together in your dual diagnosis program?
Mental health and addiction are deeply connected — untreated mental health conditions can lead to relapse, while substance use can intensify psychiatric conditions. Our integrated approach treats both conditions simultaneously to promote lasting, whole-person recovery.
What mental health disorders do you treat in your dual diagnosis and mental health programs?
We treat a wide range of conditions, including anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and trauma-related disorders, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
How often do I see my therapist?
You’ll meet with your therapist once a week, in addition to weekly sessions with our medication management provider and a care manager.
Can my family visit?
Family programming is held on Sundays. Your family must be approved by the clinical team before attending. To arrange a virtual family session, please coordinate with your therapist.
Can you assist with FMLA, disability, or legal issues?
Yes. Residential clients have access to care management services, including help with FMLA, short-term disability, and legal matters. You’ll meet with your care manager on a weekly basis for support. Long-term disability assistance is not provided.
